The reverse side of the disc includes a performance by the Johnson Family, recorded on the same date.
This item originally belonged to Dan Brennan of Birmingham radio station WVOK. Newspaper coverage from the 1950s and '60s indicate that Reeves variously dubbed his band the Rocky Mountain Playboys, the Dixie Playboys, and (according to this disc's label) the Alabama Playboys.
